Privacy, kept plain
What this site collects about you, which tools do it, and how to ask us anything about it. We've kept this as plain as we can. Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who we are
Advanced Monkey (ABN 50 105 722 108) — an AI & automation consultancy in Daylesford, Victoria, run by Peter Nguyen. Anything on this page, ask us: enquiries@advancedmonkey.com. We handle personal information consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988, Cth).
Understanding site visits
Three tools help us see how the site is used, so we can make it better:
- Google Analytics — anonymous page-view and event counts
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and anonymised session replays of how pages are scrolled and clicked; anything you type is masked by default
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and reports aggregate performance
These use cookies and similar identifiers. None of it is used for advertising, and we never sell or share visitor data.
The chat button
Messages you type into the chat are sent to Anthropic (a US company) to generate the reply, and a copy of the exchange may land in our own inbox so a human can follow up. Treat it like any contact form — don't paste anything sensitive, and anything you do share stays between you, us and that pipeline.
Newsletter, enquiries and bookings
If you subscribe to the blog, your email address and chosen interests are stored in our own Microsoft 365 systems — no third-party mailing platform, never sold or shared, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Enquiries and bookings run through Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Bookings, and land in the same place. If you ask us to call you from the contact page, your name, phone number, the times that suit you and anything else you choose to add are stored there too, and used only to arrange the call.
If you vote in the palette game behind the colour button, we keep your choice against a scrambled ID made from your connection and browser, stored with our host Cloudflare. It isn't your IP address, isn't linked to your name or email, and lets you change your vote. Joining the mailing list from there works like any other signup.
Your rights
You can ask us any time what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it — email enquiries@advancedmonkey.com and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with our answer, you can raise it with the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
